Transparent OLED for the Sci-fi effects

Remember those cool transparent display panels that we often see in movies such as Minority Report? Thanks to the researchers over at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research IAP, the technology might be made possible in our everyday gadgets in a near future.

“We achieved this result by using a new type of metal electrode to supply the polymer film with electric current,” reports Armin Wedel of the IAP. “The clue of the transparency lies in its physical properties.”
